About

About Our Organization

Each season, the USC Inline Hockey Association joins other regional teams in game play through the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Roller Hockey League (PIRHL). The teams are considered a club sport in association with a township or district, but are not directly linked to a particular school. If a township or district does not have enough players to form its own team, those players can join neighboring teams.

There can be one or multiple teams at the Elementary (2nd-5th grade), Middle School (6th-8th grade), and High School levels depending on how many students register. If there are enough players to form more than one team at a level, skill assessments are held to determine team placement. Teams are generally announced in August prior to the start of the season.

The good news is — there is always room for everyone! Even if your child has never played hockey before, the coaches welcome and help develop players of all skill levels. And if your child has played hockey before, the tiered team structures allow for competitive play.

Games are 4 on 4, and this is a non-checking league.
