Registration
Even though the season technically begins in late August, the registration process happens much earlier! Skill assessments typically take place in late May, and sign ups must be completed by early July. The PIRHL requires that final rosters are set and submitted by July 31st, so this time frame allows us to hit that deadline.
No matter what time of year you found out about USC Inline Hockey though, drop us a line! We’d love to hear if your child is interested in playing and would be happy to help loop you in wherever we can.
Season Dates
- Registration typically opens in late May and must be set by early July to allow the league time to organize the team rosters. A date for skill assessments is typically held at the end of May. Contact Us to learn more!
- Each season begins in late August with practices that occur once a week at a set time for each team. Practices are held at the Bridgeville HockeyPlex.
- Games begin in mid-September and run through mid-February. Playoffs are held in early March. The schedule is created and maintained by the PIRHL.
Cost to Play
- A $200 deposit is required at registration to confirm participation in the coming season. Deposits are non-refundable after August 1st.
- The remaining fees* range between $600-$700 and can be made over two payments in the fall. Typically one payment is due at the first practice and the final balance is due by October 1st. No refunds after October 1st.
- Uniforms consist of pants, a dark ‘Home’ jersey and a light ‘Away’ jersey. Each uniform piece is $60, for a total of $180. Uniform orders are placed in June.
* The remaining fees are calculated once registration has closed and the total number of players has been confirmed. Rink fees, PIRHL fees, and other league costs are combined and divided by the number of players — the more skaters we have, the cheaper the fees will be! Multi-sibling discounts, discounts for goalies with their own gear, and Financial Help are available. Contact us to learn more.
